Leaving a legacy to the vbf

It is recommended that a solicitor draw up your Will but the following is suggested as a guide:

FORM OF BEQUEST IN A WILL

I GIVE AND BEQUEATH to the Veterinary Benevolent Fund of 7 Mansfield Street, London W1G 9NQ (the sum of £……………) (the residue of my estate after my debts and bequests have been made) (a…………….share in the residue of my estate) free of duty to be applied towards carrying on the charitable designs of the said Fund and I declare that the receipt of the Secretary or other proper Officer of the said Fund shall be sufficient discharge for my Trustees.

AMENDMENT TO A WILL BY A CODICIL
